LCOR has opened a “280-degree immersive room” created by immersive experience studio Pixel Artworks to market the forthcoming Hoboken Connect mixed-use development in Hoboken, New Jersey. The project, designed by FXCollaborative, plans to feature a residential tower and an office building, along with new public space across a nearly 2-acre footprint near the Hoboken Terminal.

Hoboken Connect is a multi-phase project that is being developed in partnership with NJ Transit and the City of Hoboken. It aims to create a transit-oriented development, and the immersive room provides a low-carbon way for people to visualize and experience the buildings and campus.
The first phase will consist of a 27-story residential building designed by SLCE Architects. It will yield 386 units with 20 percent dedicated to affordable housing. Building amenities will include a fitness center, a pool, and coworking spaces.

The next phase will consist of a 21-story office building with 704,000 square feet of Class A office space, along with a number of amenities, including outdoor loggias and a conference facility.

The new immersive room is the first of its kind in real estate marketing. It features a surrounding projection and a 65-inch 4K OLED screen, allowing visitors to virtually experience the 21-story office tower being developed on the campus before it is completed. Pixel Artworks also designed a video animation for the space that showcases Hoboken’s past, present, and future.
