Permits have been filed for the demolition of four buildings at 2629 and 2631 30th Street in Astoria, Queens. The properties are steps from the Astoria Boulevard subway station, which serves the N and W trains.
The proposed demolitions will include four single-family residences. The main houses at 2629 and 2631 30th Street are both two-story, 23-foot-tall structures that sit on approximately 1,000 square feet each. The rear houses on the same lots are one-story, 12-foot-tall structures, also with 1,000 square feet each.
Aniska31 Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications. The estimated demolition costs range from $15,000 to $50,000 per building.
The permits were filed on October 1, 2024, with approvals and permits issued in late October 2024. An estimated completion date for the demolitions has not been announced.
