A new rendering has been revealed for 650 Washington Avenue, a seven-story residential building on the border of Prospect Heights and Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by ARC Architecture + Design Studio and developed by Decatur Partners LLC, the structure will yield an undisclosed number of either rental or condominium units. The site is located mid-block between Bergen and Dean Streets.
The rendering previews a stepped massing with setbacks at the fourth, sixth, and seventh floors, all topped with landscaped terraces. The façade is depicted composed of white paneling surrounding floor-to-ceiling windows with gold-hued metal spandrels. This metallic paneling will also line the recessed balconies at the center of the building and the upper levels above the setbacks.
Demolition permits were filed in July for the low-rise structure that currently occupies the property.

The site is located in close proximity to multiple subways, including the C train at the Clinton–Washington Avenues station to the north, the B and Q trains at the 7th Avenue station, the 2 and 3 trains at the Grand Army Plaza station to the southwest along Flatbush Avenue, and the C and S trains at the Franklin Avenue station to the east.
Permits for 650 Washington Avenue have yet to be filed, and an estimated completion date has not been announced.
