Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Welltower, Inc. and Hines, the 230-foot-tall building will yield a total of 162 residences that will be spread across 109,315 square feet, averaging 674 square feet apiece. Broadway 85 LLC is the owner and Hunter Robert Construction Group is the general contractor for the project, located at the corner of Broadway and West 85th Street.
AvalonBay Communities has partnered with Atria Senior Living and Welltower to complete a $300 million mixed-use community in New Jersey’s West Windsor Township. Permits have been filed for an 18-story senior living facility at 2330 Broadway on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. Located between West 84th Street and West 85th Street, the interior lot is one block south of the 86th Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train. As previously reported by YIMBY, the site is under development by Welltower, Inc. and is the second senior living property in New York City for the global health provider. Real estate investment firm Hines is also a co-developer.
139 East 56th Street, aka 677-681 Lexington Avenue, recently topped out 17 stories above Midtown. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Hines and Welltower, the new senior-housing facility is called “Sunrise” and is located at the corner of East 56th Street and Lexington Avenue. Facade installation at ground level has also commenced. The two developers previously paid $115 million for the 9,236-square foot site. The tower now stands 218 feet to its rooftop.
