Construction is now complete on Vandewater, a 33-story residential tower at 543 West 122nd Street in Morningside Heights, Manhattan. Developed by Savanna and designed by INC Architecture & Design with SLCE Architects as the executive architect and Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. as the landscape architect, the 385-foot-tall structure yields 183 condominium units. Brown Harris Stevens Development has been in charge of marketing and sales for the property, which is bound by Broadway to the west, West 122nd Street to the south, West 123rd street to the north, and Amsterdam Avenue to the east.

Construction has quickly risen past the halfway mark on 3041 Broadway, a 42-story mixed-use tower designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects in Morningside Heights. Alternately addressed as 100 Claremont Avenue, the project is being developed by L&M Development Partners and Lendlease with SLCE Architects as the architect of record, and will yield 350,000 square feet with condominiums as well as institutional offices, faculty housing, and classrooms for the Union Theological Seminary. Beyer Blinder Belle is handling the renovations of Union Theological Seminary’s Hastings Hall, where students reside. The property is located by the corner of Claremont Avenue and West 122nd Street, directly across from Riverside Church, and the tower is being constructed with the use of air rights from the seminary.
