In a major reveal, SL Green Realty has announced its plans to redevelop and expand their existing 13-story office building at One Madison Avenue. From architects Kohn Pedersen Fox, new designs include 18 new floors of Class-A office space, tenant amenities, and more than an acre of outdoor terraces.
Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 21 Meserole Street, in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Union Avenue and Lorimer Street, the new development is situated close to Sternberg Park. Two blocks south is the Broadway subway station serviced by the G train, and three blocks to the west is Hewes Street station, serviced by the J and M trains. Chang Qing Lin of 97-101 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Permits have been filed for a one-story commercial building at 5002 Flatlands Avenue, in Flatlands, Brooklyn. Located between Utica Avenue and East 51st Street, the corner site is situated directly on Flatlands Avenue. Subway access is limited, and the closest station is the Flatbush Avenue station serviced by the 2 train, is well over a mile away. David Koptiev of Gabriel Development Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Set to become the temporary-tallest residential building in Downtown Brooklyn, and ranking 28th among the 30 tallest skyscrapers currently under construction across the Five Boroughs, Extell’s Brooklyn Point, aka 138 Willoughby Street, has now surpassed the halfway mark in its rise. The upcoming 720-foot-tall tower is designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, with SLCE Architects serving as the architect of record. Interiors are being designed by Katherine Newman, while the landscaping of the private outdoor spaces is being carried out by MNLA.
