New renderings reveal the interior photography of Gotham Point’s North Tower, a 57-story residential skyscraper at 1-15 57th Avenue in Hunters Point South, Queens. Designed by Handel Architects with interiors designed by BHDM, and developed by Gotham Organization in partnership with RiseBoro Community Partnership, the North Tower rises along the waterfront of Long Island City.
Construction will soon wrap up at 49 Mall Drive, a new 178,000-square-foot warehouse in Commack, Long Island. Led by Bristol Group, a San Francisco-based development company, the building features 36-foot ceiling spans, 31 loading docks, and a pair of 12-foot-wide drive-in doors.
Excavation is set to begin at 300 Nevins Street, the site of a two-building residential project in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Charney Companies and Tavros Capital, the 600,000-square-foot complex will yield 654 rental units with 25 percent designated as affordable housing, as well as ground-floor retail space and a public waterfront esplanade designed by James Corner Field Operations. Broadway Construction Group is the general contractor for the 2.3-acre full-block property, which is bound by Union Street to the north, Carroll Street to the south, Nevins Street to the east, the Gowanus Canal to the west.
Exterior work is nearing completion on 424 East 90th Street, a ten-story SecureSpace Self Storage facility in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Tao Architecture + Design and developed by Parkland Group under the 424 East 90th Street LLC, the 131-foot-tall structure will yield 104,000 square feet with 80,399 square feet for storage space, a cellar level, a 30-foot long rear yard, and three loading berths. PB Brown NYC is the general contractor for the project, which is located between First and York Avenues.
Bronx Pro Group and Services for the UnderServed recently welcomed the first wave of residents to 1769 Jerome Avenue, a newly completed affordable and supportive housing property in the Morris Heights section of The Bronx. Marvel is the project architect and landscape architect for Jerome Court, the 16-story building comprising 175 apartments, including 105 supportive housing units, 69 affordable housing units, and one superintendent’s unit.
