Progress is finally advancing on the Korean Cultural Center of NYC, at 122-126 East 32nd Street. Located in the Midtown neighborhood of Murray Hill, on East 32nd Street between Lexington and Park, construction began on June 28th with a panel of dignitaries who attended the groundbreaking event. The building will be designed by SAMOO Architecture PC, and is being developed by Young Park, of Level Group. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, NY, purchased the site for $15.8 million back in March 2008, which included nearly 4,500 square feet of air rights from the neighboring four-story building.
Since launching sales in 2017, Extell’s latest property in New Jersey, The Lofts Pier Village, has now passed several milestones, with more than 100 residences now either sold or in-contract. Construction is also making major headway. Located in the Jersey Shore’s Long Branch community, Pier Village is being developed in collaboration with Kushner Companies, and the entire development is slated for completion in 2020.
Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 526 Union Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The site is four blocks away from the Metropolitan Avenue subway station, serviced by the G and L trains. Long-Island based Northside Capital Corporation is behind the applications.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use development at 448 East 143rd Street in Mott Haven, The Bronx. The site is six blocks away from the Brook Avenue subway station, serviced by the 6 trains. Seven blocks away is the Third Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Manhattan-based non-profit Breaking Ground will be responsible for the development.

The site is just a block away from East River State Park, with panoramic views of Manhattan, and Smorgasbord on Saturdays. The Bedford Avenue L stop is five blocks away. Acme will be responsible for the development.
