Construction has nearly wrapped on a new residential property located adjacent to the elevated portions of the N and W subway lines in Long Island City. The low-rise building sits mid-block at 36-27 31st Street with TCO approvals anticipated for October 2018.
Designed by Morali Architects, the building’s facade is both simple and attractive. Upon full completion, the building’s 31st street frontage will incorporate bands of living greenery.The new structure also arrives as the premier project for property owner Maxie Development.
As previously revealed by YIMBY, the building will contain over 24,000 square feet of residential area divided among 34 rental units. Nearly 6,000 square feet of commercial area will occupy first and second floors comprised of both retail and office components.
