The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2892 Nostrand Avenue, a nine-story residential building in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Designed by Archimaera Architecture and developed by Igor Vaysman under Mike Rose Realty LLC, the structure yields 32 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 20 units for residents at 40 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $42,343 to $227,500.

Permits Filed for 295 Clifton Place in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 295 Clifton Place in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford and Nostrand Avenues, the lot is one block south of the Bedford–Nostrand Avenues subway station, served by the G train. Lex Lopez of Joint Capital Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.

55-Story Skyscraper Readies for Vertical Construction at 24-19 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens

Construction is about to go vertical at 24-19 Jackson Avenue, a 55-story residential skyscraper in the Court Square section of Long Island City, Queens. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Charney Companies and Tavros Capital in partnership with Incoco Capital, the 676-foot-tall structure will yield 600 apartments and 10,000 square feet of retail space. The 18,000-square-foot property is bounded by 45th Avenue to the north, Jackson Avenue to the southeast, and 23rd Street to the west.

Restoration of Morris-Jumel Mansion Begins in Washington Heights, Manhattan

Construction has begun on an approximately $10 million restoration of the Morris-Jumel Mansion, the 1765 landmark located at 65 Jumel Terrace in Washington Heights, Manhattan. NYC Parks Commissioner Tricia Shimamura joined officials from the Historic House Trust, local elected leaders, and community members to mark the start of the project, which aims to preserve Manhattan’s oldest surviving residence. The effort is being undertaken in partnership with NYC Parks, the Historic House Trust, and the Morris-Jumel Mansion, with design work led by Page Ayres Cowley Architecture.

Available on NYC Housing Connect are 18 units for residents at 60 to 100 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $62,572 to $175,000.
