Exterior work is nearing completion on 456 Greenwich Street, an eight-story hotel building in Tribeca. Designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group with Martin Brudnizki Design Studio as the interior designer and developed by Caspi Development, the 94,000-square-foot structure will yield 96 guest rooms operated by Groupe Lucien Barrière of the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris. AECOM Tishman is the general contractor of the edifice, which is bound by Greenwich Street to the east, Desbrosses Street to the south, and Washington Street to the west.

Façade installation is progressing on 2551-2555 Broadway, a 22-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group and developed by Extell, the 276,578-square-foot reinforced concrete structure will yield 130 residential units averaging 1,660 square feet apiece, as well as 9,080 square feet of commercial space. Leeding Builders Group, LLC is the general contractor and Paragon JV Prop. III, LLC is the owner of the property, which is located at the corner of Broadway and West 96th Street.
Crown work is moving along on 3 Sutton Place, an 847-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 430 East 58th Street in Midtown East. Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen and developed by Gamma Real Estate with Stephen B. Jacobs Group as the executive architect, the 62-story tower is located between Sutton Place South and First Avenue and will yield 121 residential units with sweeping views of Manhattan. The site is a short walk from the Sutton Place Park North esplanade that overlooks the East River, Roosevelt Island, and Long Island City.
Proposals to construct a new nine-story apartment building and charter school in Elmhurst, Queens are now under review by the Department of City Planning. The development site is approximately 70,000 square feet and bound by Long Island Railroad train tracks to the south, Whitney Avenue and 83rd Street to the east, and 82nd Street and 47th Avenue to the west.
The next phase of development at 2856 Webster Avenue, a new affordable housing complex in Bedford Park, The Bronx will introduce a sprawling new grocery store operated by Cherry Valley Marketplace. The retailer has committed to operate under guidelines established New York City’s Food Retail Expansion to Support Heath (FRESH) program, which promotes the establishment and retention of grocery stores that dedicate required selling space to perishable food items within underserved communities.
