Construction has begun on 570 Eldert Lane, a seven-story affordable housing development in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Designed by Think! Architecture + Design and developed by Slate Property Group and Thorobird Companies in partnership with Bangladeshi American Community Development & Youth Services (BACDYS) and Goldman Sachs, the structure will deliver 213 affordable residential units alongside community-focused programming. The city-owned through-block property is located between Glenmore and Pitkin Avenues.

New renderings have been revealed for Bower Brooklyn, a 13-story residential building under construction at 2683 Atlantic Avenue in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Designed by Isaac & Stern Architects and developed by Wyton Developers, the structure will yield 229 two-bedroom rental units and 30,000 square feet of amenities. The property is located at the corner of Atlantic and New Jersey Avenues.

A joint venture has closed on financing for the construction of 570 Eldert Lane, a 213-unit affordable housing development located in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. The team, which is a collaboration between Slate Property Group, Thorobird Companies LLC, and Bangladeshi American Community Development & Youth Services (BACDYS), will demolish the existing parking lot on the site to make way for the new property. The project has been designed by Urban Quotient. The site is located between Glenmore and Pitkin Avenues.

2886 Atlantic Avenue Opens in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn

A ribbon cutting ceremony was recently held to mark the opening of 2886 Atlantic Avenue, a ten-story affordable housing development in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Designed by JFA Architects & Engineers and developed by Camber Property Group, the nearly 128,000-square-foot structure yields 182 deeply affordable units. The project also includes 5,200 square feet of commercial space and a 56-vehicle parking facility. The New York City Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Institute for Community Living (ICL) will operate and manage the property, which is bounded by Atlantic Avenue to the north, Jerome Street to the east, and Barbey Street to the west.
