Construction is nearing topping out on 2435 Pacific Street, a ten-story residential building in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Developed by Brooklyn Community Housing & Services along with Alembic Community Development and Love Fellowship Tabernacle, the structure will yield more than 240 affordable and supportive housing for vulnerable families and domestic violence survivors. SLCE Architects is the designer and Mega construction is the contractor. The formerly vacant property is located by the confluence of Pacific Street and East New York Avenue.

Glenmore Manor Tops Out At 97 Glenmore Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out on Glenmore Manor, a ten-story affordable housing development at 97 Glenmore Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Designed by Think! Architecture and Design and developed by the Glenmore Manor Apartments Managers LLC, a consortium of non-profit community developer African American Planning Commission Inc., affordable housing owner-developer and builder Lemle & Wolff Companies, and private real estate company Brisa Builders Development, the structure will yield 232 rental units for families earning up to 80 percent area median income, with a portion designated for formerly homeless families and low-income seniors. The project will also house a community facility called The B’Ville Hub and commercial space. The property is located on a formerly vacant L-shaped parcel bound by Glenmore Avenue to the south, Christopher Avenue to the east, and Mother Gaston Boulevard to the west.

Designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by Procida Companies, the structure yields 208 residences and 14,000 square feet of commercial space. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 60 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $18,480 to $154,080.

L+M Development Partners has closed on $179 million in financing that will support the construction of three new buildings within the Marcus Garvey Extension Project.
