St. Francis College will soon relocate its New York campus to The Wheeler Building at 181 Livingston Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The new facility is expected to open in September 2022 and includes the introduction of new academic programs, dining area, event spaces, and collaborative areas.
Savanna, a New York-based development company, recently landed $264 million in financing to complete 141 Willoughby Street, a 24-story commercial tower underway in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Fogarty Finger with SLCE Architects, the property will yield 400,000 square feet of office and retail space.
Leasing has officially kicked off at One Boerum Place, a 22-story rental building in Downtown Brooklyn. The new development introduces 96 apartments ranging from one- to four-bedroom layouts and a suite of amenities.
Gotham Organization’s contentious new development at 130 St. Felix Street in Downtown Brooklyn is now under review by the Department of City Planning as part of the New York’s Uniform Land Use Review Procedure. Known simply as ULURP, the procedure is required for projects that require special review or modifications to existing zoning regulations.
The outdoor plaza fronting 300 Ashland Place in Downtown Brooklyn is now home to an illuminated public sculpture for all to explore. Titled “Breathing Pavilion,” the interactive sculptures are designed by Ekene Ijeoma and form the artist’s premier public installation in New York City.
