Exterior work is progressing on Le Gallerie, a seven-story commercial building at 132 West 14th Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Designed and developed by KPG Funds, the project involves the gut renovation and re-cladding of a structure that formerly served as an auxiliary space for the adjacent Salvation Army headquarters, and will yield 57,478 feet of Class A office and retail space, as well as a ground-floor art gallery. 132 West 14th Street Ground Lessee LLC is listed as the owner and MJM Associates Construction is the general contractor for the development, which is located on an interior lot between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.

Designed by Morris Adjmii Architects and developed by Straus Group under the Clinton Eight Realty LLC, the structure will yield condominium units, a community facility, and commercial space with 104 feet of frontage. The project also includes repairs to the adjacent structure to the south at 177 MacDougal Street. Empire State Contractors is the general contractor for the property, which is situated at the corner of West 8th and MacDougal Streets.

Condominium Conversion Begins at 118 West 13th Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan

Work is underway on 118 West 13th Street, a seven-story residential conversion in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village Historic District. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Slate Property Group, which acquired the property for $22.85 million and is partnering with private equity firm Avenue Realty Capital, the project will create eight condominium units spread across 34,000 square feet. The structure was originally built in 1931 and formerly served as the 175-room Eugene Lang College dormitory for The New School, once touted as the most expensive college dorm in the United States. The project is located on an interior lot between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
