YIMBY Scopes Views Atop 52-41 Center Boulevard in Hunters Point South, Queens

YIMBY went to check out the views from the 44th floor of the 475-foot-tall 52-41 Center Boulevard, the shorter building in ODA Architects‘ two-tower complex in Hunters Point, Queens. Its sibling is the 587-foot-tall 52-03 Center Boulevard to the north. Both edifices rise along the East River waterfront on a parcel bound by Center Boulevard to the west, Borden Avenue to the north, 2nd Street to the east, and 54th Avenue to the south. SLCE Architects served as the architect of record for the 46- and 56-story mixed-use towers that are part of TF Cornerstone‘s Hunters Point South development.

58-Story ‘Parcel F’ Rises Past Halfway Mark in Hunters Point South, Queens

Construction has passed the halfway mark on Parcel F, a 58-story residential tower in Hunters Point South, Queens. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Gotham Organization, the structure will yield 689 residential units alongside Parcel G, its 34-story, 443-unit sibling. A grade school will be located in the podium of the complex, between the two ground-up towers. The property sits at the confluence of the East River and Newtown Creek, bound by Center Boulevard to the north, 56th Avenue to the east, and 57th Avenue to the west.

Demolition is complete at 45-03 23rd Street, the site of a 544-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper in Hunters Point, Queens. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Charney Companies and Tavros Capital under the Court Square 45th Avenue LLC, the 50-story structure will yield a mix of condominiums, commercial space, and communal space. The site is located along 23rd Street between Jackson Avenue and 45th Avenue, directly to the east of the elevated subway tracks of the 7 train.

Façade Work Progresses on Parcel G in Hunters Point South, Queens

Façade work is progressing on the topped-out superstructure of “Parcel G,” a 34-story tower in Hunters Point South, Queens. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Gotham Organization, the building will yield 443 residential units, of which a portion will be dedicated to affordable housing, as well as a lower-level community facility for Flux Factory and for kayak rentals. The site is located by the intersection of 2nd Street and 56th Avenue.
