Jasper Stands Topped Out At 2-33 50th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens

Construction has topped out on Jasper, a 13-story residential building at 2-33 50th Avenue in the Hunters Point district of Long Island City, Queens. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed by The Domain Companies, LMXD, Bridge Investment Group, and The Vorea Group, the 125-foot-tall structure will span 550,000 square feet and yield 499 units in studio to three-bedroom layouts with 150 reserved for affordable housing, as well as 40,000 square feet of retail space, 503 square feet for a community facility under the Brownfield Award, 111 enclosed parking spaces, and a 30-foot-long rear yard. The $370 million project is alternately addressed as 49-20 5th Street and is bound by 49th Avenue to the north, 50th Avenue to the south, and 5th Street to the east.

New Renderings Released For 2-20 and 2-21 Malt Drive in Hunters Point, Queens

New renderings have been revealed for 2-20 and 2-21 Malt Drive, a two-tower complex in the Hunters Point South master plan in Hunters Point, Queens. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by TF Cornerstone, the development consists of a 34-story, 390-foot-tall structure with 575 units at 2-20 Malt Drive and a two-tower building at 2-21 Malt Dive with a 38-story, 440-foot-tall tower and a 25-story, 310-foot-tall sibling collectively housing 811 units. The project will span 1.43 million square feet and yield 1,386 rental units, with 30 percent designated for affordable housing, as well as around 25,000 square feet of retail space. SCAPE Landscape Architecture is the landscape architect for the master plan, which will rise from a subdivided plot bound by 54th Avenue to the north, Newtown Creek to the south, and 2nd Street to the west.

Construction is complete on Gotham Point’s north tower, a 57-story residential skyscraper at 1-15 57th Avenue in Hunters Point South, Queens. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Gotham Organization and Riseboro Community Partnership, the 559-foot-tall structure yields 692 rental units and is also known as Parcel F in a two-tower master plan alongside its shorter 33-story, 443-foot-tall sibling, Parcel G. The property is bound by Center Boulevard to the north, 56th Avenue to the east, and 57th Avenue to the west.
