Also addressed as 207 East 84th Street, the site is located on the corner of 84th Street and Third Avenue. Two block north is the 86th Street subway station, served by the Q train. Samy Mahfar of 255 East Houston Manager, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

At number three on our year-end countdown of the tallest construction projects in New York is 77 West 66th Street, a proposed 1,200-foot residential supertall skyscraper on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Developed by Extell, the 90-story structure would stand as the tallest building in the neighborhood by a significant margin. The site is bounded by West 67th Street to the north, West 66th Street to the south, and Columbus Avenue to the west.

Demolition Continues for 1,162-Foot Supertall at 655 Madison Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

The fourth-tallest building on our year-end countdown is 655 Madison Avenue, a proposed 1,162-foot mixed-use supertall on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by Extell, the 74-story structure will span 764,698 square feet and yield 154 condominium units with an average scope of 3,091 square feet, as well as approximately 233,000 square feet of commercial and retail space on the lower levels. The property is located at the corner of Madison Avenue and East 60th Street.

LPC Reviewing Proposal For 53 East 77th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is reviewing a proposal for façade alterations to 53 East 77th Street, a five-story building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Assembled by studioMDA, the proposal outlines changes to the Neo-Georgian building to support its conversion into a gallery space. The structure was originally constructed between 1900 and 1901 and later modified in 1926. The property is located between Park and Madison Avenues.

At number 14 on our year-end countdown of the tallest construction projects in New York is 50 West 66th Street, a 775-foot-tall residential skyscraper on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Snøhetta and developed by Extell and Tennor Holding, the 69-story structure will yield 127 condominium units. SLCE Architects is the executive architect for the property, which is located on an interior lot between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West with frontage on both West 65th and West 66th Streets.
