Westchester IDA Approves Financial Incentives for Two Multi-Family Developments in Downtown White Plains

Westchester County’s Industrial Development Agency has approved two substantial multifamily rental properties in downtown White Plains. Referred to simply as the IDA, the agency works to facilitate diversification and urbanization of the county through the construction of vibrant mixed-use developments. Together these new properties will create 346 new apartments and represent $131 million in private investment.

Allstate Ventures Closes on $64M Financing Package to Complete 64 Centre Street in New Rochelle

SCALE Lending recently provided a $64 million financing package for developers to complete a new 14-story tower at 64 Centre Street in New Rochelle. From developer Allstate Ventures and Richard Bienenfeld Architect, the building will create 144 rental apartments in studio, one-, and two-bedroom floor plans. Additional components include 1,550 square feet of retail, on-site parking, and an unspecified suite of amenities.

The Hudson Companies Partners with Pension Funds to Create Workforce Housing Across NYC

The Hudson Companies has partnered with two of New York City’s largest municipal pension funds to build new work force housing in the five boroughs and Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Putnam, Orange, and Rockland counties. In collaboration with the New York City Employees’ Retirement System, and the Teachers’ Retirement System of the City of New York, the investment is valued at $250 million.
