Affordable Housing Project Approved for 30 Water Street In Ossining, Westchester County

A new all-affordable apartment complex was recently approved for 30 Water Street in Ossining, Westchester County, on the former site of the Village Department of Public Works property. Developer WBP Development LLC received final approval for financial assistance from the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency on August 29. The $94 million project was designed to transform the former industrial site into a fully affordable housing development.

New Event Space Breaks Ground At 6 Saw Mill River Road In Westchester County

A new project broke ground last week on a long-vacant plot of land located at 6 Saw Mill River Road in Westchester County. The property, formerly owned by Gasho of Japan, was recently acquired by Michael Pasqualini, an entrepreneur in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Pasqualini broke ground yesterday on the 2.8-acre plot, and plans to transform the site into Le Setai, an upscale event venue.

Westchester IDA Grants Incentives Approval for Senior Housing Project at 136-140 Croton Avenue In Ossining

The Westchester County Industrial Development Agency has given its final approval for financial incentives to support the construction of a $44.5 million affordable housing project designed exclusively for seniors aged 62 and older. The project, called Crescent Manor Ossining, will occupy a currently vacant site located at 136-140 Croton Avenue in Ossining.

Westchester LDC Approves $52M Bond Financing for NY Blood Center’s $108M Project

The Westchester County Local Development Corporation (LDC) has given preliminary approval for $52 million in tax-exempt bond financing to assist the New York Blood Center Inc. in redeveloping the former Avon headquarters at at 601 Midland Avenue in Rye. The approval, which was granted October 20, will facilitate the transformation of the old headquarters into a 187,000-square-foot facility, entirely leased to the New York Blood Center for offices, testing and research laboratories, along with processing, storage, and distribution of blood and related supplies.
