Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by JMH Development and Mettle Property Group, the 158,000-square-foot building will yield 143 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 32 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $70,286 to $159,640.

Permits Filed for 1477 Macombs Road in Mount Eden, The Bronx

Permits have been filed for an eight-story educational building at 1477 Macombs Road in Mount Eden, The Bronx. Located between Inwood Avenue and West 172nd Street, the interior lot is near the 170th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Peter Fine of Bolivar Development, under the 1475 Macombs Road LLC, is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Manhattan’s First Public Beach at Gansevoort Peninsula Will Begin Construction This Spring

Hudson River Park Trust expects to begin construction this spring on Gansevoort Peninsula Park, Manhattan’s first public beach. Located on the Hudson River waterfront near Pier 53 at Little West 12th Street, the 5.5-acre project is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

11 Hoyt Street’s Exterior Reaches Completion in Downtown Brooklyn

The finishing touches are going up on 11 Hoyt Street, a 620-foot-tall residential skyscraper in Downtown Brooklyn. Developed by Tishman Speyer and designed by Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang with Hill West Architects as the architect of record, the exterior of the 57-story project now appears complete, with all of its elegantly sculpted façade panels installed. Michaelis Boyd Associates is leading the interior design for the property’s 481 residential units, which will come in a total of 190 different layouts, and Edmund Hollander of Hollander Design is in charge of landscaping for the private outdoor green spaces. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is leading the sales and marketing for the Brooklyn residences.

Developed by Fetner Properties in 1998, the 207,037-square-foot building yields 208 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 11 units for residents at 90 to 100 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $50,469 to $102,400.

18 Sixth Avenue’s Glass Façade Installation Continues in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

Façade work is progressing quickly on 18 Sixth Avenue, a 49-story residential skyscraper in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by The Brodsky Organization and Greenland Forest City Partners, the 532-foot-tall, 740,000-square-foot building will yield 858 rental units, of which 258 will be dedicated to affordable housing. The property sits directly adjacent to Barclays Center and is bound by Atlantic Avenue to the north and the corner of Sixth Avenue and Pacific Street to the east. 18 Sixth Avenue is the tallest building in the 22-acre Pacific Park master plan and will eventually be joined by a corridor of future buildings running down Atlantic Avenue over the train tracks to the east.

37 Sixth Avenue’s Brick Façade Nears Completion in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

Exterior work is nearing completion on 37 Sixth Avenue, a 26-story residential building in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Alternately addressed as 495 Dean Street and 664 Pacific Street, the 343,788-square-foot structure is designed by Marvel Architects and The Brodsky Organization and will add 323 rental units to the Pacific Park complex. The rectangular property is located between Dean Street and Pacific Street.
