The affordable housing lottery has launched for 811 Lexington Avenue Senior Residences, a four-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by Think Architecture and Design and developed in part by Northeastern Conference of Seventh Day Adventists, the structure yields 63 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 43 units for residents at 50 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $0 to $56,500.

Façade Removal Nearly Finished on One Times Square in Midtown, Manhattan

Renovation work is continuing to progresses on One Times Square, a 26-story tower at 1475 Broadway in Times Square. Designed by S9 Architecture with SLCE as the architect of record and developed by Jamestown, the $500 million project involves the gut renovation and re-cladding of the 395-foot-tall structure, along with the addition of new LED displays and viewing decks with platforms that overlook the famous crossroads. R&R Scaffolding Companies will supply the BMU and Turner Construction Company is the general contractor for the property, which is located on a trapezoidal plot bound by West 43rd Street to the north, West 42nd Street to the south, Broadway to the east, and Seventh Avenue to the west.

Demolition Continues at 8-16 West 45th Street in Midtown, Manhattan

Demolition is steadily progressing at 8-16 West 45th Street, the site of a forthcoming development from Lori Buchbinder of Buchbinder & Warren, LLC in Midtown, Manhattan. The 9,241-square-foot assemblage consists of four low-rise commercial structures ranging between three and seven stories with 92 feet of frontage. Ancora Engineering was the applicant of record on permits filed in 2021, and Alba Services is the demolition contractor for the property, which is located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

276 Bedford Avenue Completes Construction in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Tri State Commercial is in charge of leasing and marketing the divisible retail space.

Mayor Eric Adams Announces Development Plan to Create 4,000 New Apartments in Central Brooklyn

Known as the Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan, projections also anticipate the creation of more than 1,500 income-restricted homes centered on a 13-block stretch of Atlantic Avenue.
