Façade installation is moving along quickly on 450 Eleventh Avenue, a 51-story hotel skyscraper in Hudson Yards. Designed by DSM Design Group and developed by Marx Development Group, the 642-foot-tall structure will house a 379-room Aloft hotel with a business center, a ballroom, and a fourth-floor restaurant with a bar and outdoor terrace. Atria Builders is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of West 37th Street and Eleventh Avenue, directly across from the Jacob K. Javits Center.

Demolition of a multi-story parking garage has wrapped up at 85 DeKalb Avenue, the site of a planned 29-story residential building in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by Long Island University and RXR Realty under the RXR LIU Developer TRS LLC, the 348-foot-tall structure will span 288,849 square feet and yield 275 rental units with an average scope of 883 square feet, as well as 45,981 square feet of community facility space, a cellar level, a 30-foot long rear yard, two loading berths, and 198 enclosed parking spaces. Capital Industries Corp. is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the intersection of DeKalb Avenue and Rockwell Place.

Wieder Architects and developed by 35 Holding LLC, the structure yields roughly 70,000 square feet of residential space with 143 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, as well as 8,791 square feet of commercial space, 1,097 square feet of community facility space, parking for up to 43 vehicles, and a cellar level. Empire Management & Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is alternatively addressed as 35 Fourth Avenue and located at the corner of Dean Street and Fourth Avenue.
