The site is close to the Bronx River, and surrounded by green space, which runs through the Bronx Zoo and New York Botanical Garden. The West Farms Square-East Tremont Avenue Subway Station is two blocks away, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains.
Two Trees Management Company has announced plans to build a full-sized supermarket in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood, at 66 Front Street, between Washington Street and Main Street. The developers are repurposing the existing single-story parking garage on site as the structure for the grocery store, which will be dubbed DUMBO Market.
Ground was broken at 2865 Creston Avenue yesterday to mark the beginning of construction on Bedford Green House, a 13-story supportive and affordable housing project in The Bronx’s Bedford Park neighborhood. The development is expected to cost $58.8 million, with almost half financed by the New York City Housing Development Corporation, HDC, under their Extremely Low- and Low-Income Affordability (ELLA) program.
