15-Story Condo & Retail Project At 809 Broadway Lands Financing, Greenwich Village

IDM Capital, manager to the developer 809 Broadway Associates LLC, has received a $30 million construction loan for their 15-story, 10-unit condominium building at 809 Broadway, three blocks south of Union Square, in Greenwich Village. According to Commercial Observer, the project, an expansion of the existing five-story building, will measure 40,000 square feet, with a 5,000 square-foot retail portion spanning the ground and basement levels. ODA is designing, and completion is expected in 2017 or 2018.


1800 Park Avenue

Development Site At 1800 Park Avenue Being Sold Off, East Harlem

Last Fall, YIMBY revealed renderings of the ODA-designed 32-story, 682-unit mixed-use building planned at 1800 Park Avenue, in East Harlem. Excavation is currently underway, but now its developer, Continuum Company, is planning to sell the development site, according to the New York Post. The property, located at the Harlem-125th Street stop on Metro North and the 4, 5 and 6 subways, is expected to go for $150 million. Current plans also include 80,000 square feet of retail space.

Work Wraps Up On 11-Story, 182-Unit Rental Building At 22-22 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City

Jeffrey Gershon’s 11-story, 182-unit rental building at 22-22 Jackson Avenue, in Long Island City, quickly went up over the past year, having reached its half-way point in December, and then topping out in April. Today, the finishing touches are being applied to the structure’s exterior, and glass installation is nearly complete, according to The Court Square Blog. ODA Architecture is designing, and the ground floor will feature 5,585 square feet of retail space. Completion is expected by the end of this year.

Revealed: Two ODA-Designed Towers for Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 6

Brooklyn Bridge Park President Regina Myer unveiled the design and developer for the two towers planned on the park’s final development site at Pier 6. RAL Development, who converted the former Jehovah’s Witnesses warehouse at 360 Furman Street to a pricey condo project known as One Brooklyn Bridge Park, is partnering with Oliver Realty to develop the buildings.
