Sherwood Equities Lists 460 Tenth Avenue For Sale in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Sherwood Equities recently listed its development site at 460 Tenth Avenue for sale in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Currently home to a surface-level parking lot, the property has the potential to give rise to a 42-story skyscraper yielding 233 units. The developer already engaged Perkins Eastman to design the project, which also included lower-level retail space and underground parking. The site is located at the corner of Tenth Avenue and West 36th Street.

440 West 36th Street Prepares For Vertical Expansion in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Construction is progressing on 440 West 36th Street, where a six-story structure is being expanded into an 11-story residential building in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Designed by Pinnacle Engineering for Chun-Hsiung Huang of the Yards Realty LLC, the project will raise the structure’s height from 68 to 116 feet and revise its residential inventory from 11 units to nine larger homes. New commercial space will also be added to the ground floor. The property features more than 8,000 square feet of buildable air rights and is located on a narrow interior lot between Tenth and Dyer Avenues.

450 Eleventh Avenue’s Exterior Wrapping Up in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Exterior work is nearing completion on Hotel Meta, a 51-story hotel skyscraper at 450 Eleventh Avenue in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Designed by Moshe Tzur Architects and DSM Design Group and developed by Marx Development Group, the 642-foot-tall structure was last reported to yield 379 guest rooms operated by Marriott, but the hotel pulled out of the deal in 2022. The development will also feature amenities including a business center, a ballroom, banquet and conference spaces, a spa, fitness center, and a multi-level restaurant with a bar and outdoor terrace. The property is located at the corner of West 37th Street and Eleventh Avenue, directly across from the Jacob K. Javits Center.

Excavation Progresses at 430 West 37th Street in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Excavation is moving along at 430 West 37th Street, the site of an 11-story residential building in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Designed by Archimaera Architecture and developed by ZD Jasper, the 120-foot-tall structure will span 128,331 square feet and yield 128 rental units with an average scope of 924 square feet. The project will also include 9,584 square feet of commercial space, 455 square feet of community space, and two cellar levels. The property is located on a through-block lot between Ninth and Tenth Avenues, directly west of the exit lanes from the Lincoln Tunnel to Dyer Avenue.

439 West 36th Street’s Exterior Takes Shape in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Exterior work is underway on 439 West 36th Street, a 12-story residential building in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Designed by Archimaera Architecture and developed and built by ZD Jasper Realty, the 120-foot-tall structure will span 48,138 square feet and yield 52 units. The project will also contain recreation space on the roof and cellar level, a below-grade community facility, and ground-floor commercial space. The 75-foot-wide interior property is located between Dyer Avenue to the east and Tenth Avenue to the west.

Construction is officially underway at 70 Hudson Yards, a forthcoming 47-story office skyscraper in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Designed by Roger Ferris+ Partners and Gensler and developed by Related Companies and Oxford Properties, the future 1.1-million-square-foot structure will rise to an architectural height of 717 feet and is reportedly planned to become New York’s first zero-carbon emission skyscraper. The all-electric mixed-use building is alternatively addressed as 514 West 36th Street and will rise from an assemblage of two adjacent parcels bound by West 36th and 35th Streets to the north and south, The Set at 451 Tenth Avenue to the east, and Hudson Boulevard East and Bella Abzug Park to the west.

Re-cladding Nears Completion on 20 Hudson Yards in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Re-cladding work is nearing completion at 20 Hudson Yards, a partial retail-to-office conversion in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by Related Companies, the project involves the repurposing of the top three levels of the Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards mall into a 445,000-square-foot office for Wells Fargo. The conversion will accommodate a capacity of 2,300 employees, allowing the financial institution to consolidate most of its New York workforce into one location, along with the nine stories it also occupies at 30 Hudson Yards. The property is located along Tenth Avenue by the intersection with West 31st Street.
