On September 19, Covenant House broke ground on its first supportive housing development in 47 years. Located at 460 West 41st Street in Midtown West, the 80,000-square-foot facility is designed by FXCollaborative. According to permits filed last year, the structure will stand 164 feet tall and contain 80,290 square feet, with 53,053 square feet dedicated to community facility space. The building should also comprise 60 units averaging approximately 884 square feet.

Located between Bedford Avenue and Arlington Place, the lot is two blocks west of the Nostrand Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. The Collective, a co-living company, is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Located between East 179th Street and East 180th Street, the lot is near the Tremont Avenue subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. The brick and architecturally finished concrete façade of 180 East 88th Street is getting very close to completion. The 31-story reinforced concrete skyscraper holds the title of the tallest structure on the Upper East Side above 72nd Street. The residential project is designed by DDG, with HTO Architects serving as the architect of record. Petersen Tegl, a Denmark-based firm, is in charge of the Kolumba masonry brick façade. The narrow property will yield 100,242 square feet of residential space, averaging 2,088 square feet per unit. There will also be 10,255 square feet of residential amenities and 1,093 square feet of communal facilities on the lower part of the superstructure.
The historic Terminal Warehouse in West Chelsea will soon undergo a transformative renovation to accommodate a mix of first-class office space, new dining area, and ground-floor retail. L&L Holding Company and Normandy Real Estate Partners are working in collaboration to redevelop the 1.2-million-square-foot property, which occupies an entire city block from Eleventh to Twelfth Avenue and 27th to 28th Street.
