Designed by J Frankl Architects and developed by The Jay Group, the conjoined structures will stand 27 stories and 293 feet tall, and will yield a combined 450 units. The property is alternately addressed as 165 Willoughby Street and located at the corner of Flatbush Avenue Extension and Willoughby Street.

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) has announced the development team for The Stemma, an 11-story affordable housing development at 1388-1400 Stebbins Avenue in Crotona Park East, The Bronx. Developed by the Doe Fund, Xenolith Partners, and Ametrine Group, the structure will yield 149 affordable apartments and a 30,000-square-foot community recreation center. The project is being built on a long-vacant city-owned lot between East 170th Street and Jennings Street.

‘Charlie’ Residential Tower Begins Construction at Hoboken Connect in Hoboken, New Jersey

Construction has begun on Charlie, a 27-story residential building within Hoboken Connect at NJ Transit’s Hoboken Terminal in Hoboken, New Jersey. Designed by Salas O’Brien and Allied and developed by LCOR, the 365,000-square-foot structure will yield 386 units, with 20 percent designated as affordable housing, as well as ground-floor retail space.

New 20-Year Lease Signed for 7 Times Square In Midtown, Manhattan

Apparel holding company KnitWell Group has signed a 20-year lease extension for 246,000 square feet at 7 Times Square, a 47-story office skyscraper in Times Square, Manhattan. The lease will expand the company’s existing 191,000-square-foot presence in the building by two additional full floors. Designed by SOM and developed by Boston Properties, the 724-foot-tall structure spans 1.25 million square feet and is located at West 42nd Street between Broadway and Seventh Avenue.

Developers Close on Financing for Pelham House At 217 Fifth Avenue In Pelham, New York

The Hudson Companies has closed on $73 million in financing for Pelham House, a five-story residential development at 217 Fifth Avenue in Pelham, Westchester County. Designed by United Design Works and developed in partnership with Excelsior Housing Group and Sisca Northeast, the structure is planned to yield 127 units, including six designated for affordable housing, as well as 5,300 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The affordable apartments will be reserved for households earning 80 percent of area median income. Financing was provided by Santander, Related Debt Fund, and equity through Hudson’s joint venture Green Fund with the New York City Employees’ Retirement System and the Teachers’ Retirement System of the City of New York.
