A rendering has been revealed for 132 East 125th Street, a 13-story mixed-use building in Harlem, Manhattan. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Maddd Equities, the project will yield 73 affordable housing units in one- to three-bedroom layouts, as well as 7,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 45,000 square feet of medical offices on the second through fifth floors. The property is located at the corner of East 125th Street and Lexington Avenue.

5055 Broadway Tops Out In Inwood, Manhattan

Construction has topped out on 5055 Broadway, an 11-story residential building in Inwood, Manhattan. Designed by Fischer + Makooi Architects and developed by Timber Equities, the 50,808-square-foot structure will yield 60 rental apartments in one- and two-bedroom layouts, with 15 reserved for affordable housing, as well as ground-floor retail space. The project replaces a former surface-level parking lot and is part of the Inwood Rezoning Plan, which is projected to create more than 4,000 affordable housing units by 2032.

New Renderings Revealed For 343 Madison Avenue In Midtown East, Manhattan

New renderings have been revealed for 343 Madison Avenue, a 46-story commercial skyscraper in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by BXP, the 46-story tower will yield 950,000 square feet of office space and a collection of tenant amenities. The property is located along Madison Avenue between East 44th and 45th Streets.

LPC To Review Renovation, Expansion Proposal for 136 Kane Street In Cobble Hill, Brooklyn

The Landmarks Preservation Commission is reviewing a proposal for renovations and additions to 136 Kane Street, a four-story Italianate-style townhouse in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Kane Street Realty, the project involves the construction of a new rear addition and rooftop expansion to the structure, which was originally built in 1910, as well as a repairs to its original brownstone façade, replacement of non-historic windows with historically appropriate units, and reconstruction of decorative elements such as cornices. The property is located at the corner of Kane Street and Cheever Place.

The Journal Nears Completion At 10 Journal Square Plaza In Jersey City, New Jersey

Construction is nearing completion on The Journal, a two-tower residential and retail complex at 10 Journal Square Plaza in Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Woods Bagot with interiors by 1159 and developed by Kushner, the nearly $1 billion project consists of two 64-story towers connected by a multi-story podium and will span approximately 2 million square feet with 1,723 rental units and 40,000 square feet of retail space leased by Target. The property is bound by Sip Avenue to the south and Bergen Avenue and John F. Kennedy Boulevard to the west.

1404 Willow Avenue Breaks Ground In Hoboken, New Jersey

Construction has broken ground at 1404 Willow Avenue, the site of an eight-story residential building in Hoboken, New Jersey. Designed by MVMK Architects in collaboration with Living Systems and developed by Advance Realty Investors, the structure will yield 52 rental units in studio to three-bedroom layouts with an average scope of 903 square feet, as well as 6,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Five of the units will be reserved for affordable housing. The project is part of Hoboken’s North End Redevelopment Plan and is located at the corner of Willow Avenue and 14th Street.

Marymount School Completes Expansion at 115 East 97th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is complete on the Marymount School of New York’s newest school building at 115 East 97th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. PG New York finalized the project by working on the storefronts and canopies on 97th and 98th streets. Designed by COOKFOX and developed by the Marymount School of New York, the ten-story building spans 152,500 square feet and includes modern STEAM classrooms, a FabLab, athletic and dining facilities, a music room, chapel, prayer garden, and theater. The through-lot property is located between Lexington and Park Avenues with frontage on East 97th and 98th Streets.

Primark Signs Lease For Flagship Store at 150 West 34th Street In Midtown, Manhattan

Ireland-based fashion retailer Primark recently signed a lease for a four-story flagship store at 150 West 34th Street in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Gensler, the new store will comprise more 54,000 square feet of retail space and replace the current occupant Old Navy at the 78,000-square-foot building, which was built in 1900 and most recently renovated in 1998. The property is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.

Wells Fargo Announces Retail-to-Office Conversion in Hudson Yards, Manhattan

Wells Fargo has announced plans to consolidate most of its New York office presence across two buildings in Hudson Yards. Developed by Related Companies, the project involves the conversion of three stories of retail space in 20 Hudson Yards into 445,000 square feet of new office space, providing an easy link to the company’s existing nine-story footprint in the connecting 30 Hudson Yards supertall skyscraper. Wells Fargo reportedly purchased the former Neiman Marcus store, which closed in 2020, for $550 million and plans to open the new office in three years.
