Construction is nearing completion on Paragon LIC, a 23-story residential building at 45-40 Vernon Boulevard in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Archimaera and developed and built by ZD Jasper, the 262-foot-tall structure spans 192,500 square feet and yields 182 condominium units, down from the 226 units listed in filings. The project will also include ground-floor retail space and a public waterfront park. The property is located between 45th Road and 46th Avenue.

A new rendering has been revealed for Vernon Point, a planned 16-story residential building at 44-68 Vernon Boulevard in the Hunters Point section of Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Archimaera and developed by Elmrod Management, the 142,697-square-foot structure will yield 161 units and lower-level commercial space. The property is bounded by 44th Drive to the north, 45th Avenue to the south, and Vernon Boulevard to the east.

Luma’s Façade Progresses at 10-39 49th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens

Exterior work is progressing on Luma, a six-story residential building at 10-39 49th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architects Studio and developed by Yong Chen, the 65-foot-tall structure will yield 35 condominium units with an average scope of 685 square feet. The project will also include 13 open parking spaces and six enclosed parking spaces, according to permits filed last December. The property is located between Jackson Avenue and Vernon Boulevard.

Gotham Pickleball Set To Open New Facility At 52-37 Second Street In Long Island City, Queens

Developer American Lions has secured $224.3 million in bridge financing for The Italic, a recently completed residential skyscraper at 26-32 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by SLCE Architects, the 49-story tower yields 363 residential units, including 109 affordable apartments. JLL Capital Markets arranged the financing package for the development team, a joint venture between The Carlyle Group, Fetner Properties, and Lions Group. The property is located at the corner of Jackson Avenue and Purves Street.

Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Tavros Capital and Charney Companies in partnership with Incoco Capital, the 676-foot-tall structure is slated to yield 600 apartments and 10,000 square feet of retail space. The 18,000-square-foot property is bound by 45th Avenue to the north, Jackson Avenue to the southeast, and 23rd Street to the west.

Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Grubb Properties, the 311-foot-tall structure yields 417 rental units in studio- to two-bedroom layouts, with 126 designated as affordable housing. The project also includes 7,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The property is located between Crescent and 27th Streets, directly adjacent to the elevated Queensboro Plaza station served by the 7, N, and W trains.
