CityPickle, a New York-based pickleball company, has been selected by New York City Parks for the revitalization of Brooklyn Anchorage Plaza in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn. The 60,000-square-foot area, located beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, consists of three sections: Old Fulton Street Yard, Washington Street Yard, and Ash Alley. CityPickle plans to invest $2 million into the revitalization project, and work is expected to begin in 2025.
Permits have been filed for a 47-story mixed-use tower at 205 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights. Located at the northwest corner of Cadman Plaza West and Montague Street, the lot is steps from the Borough Hall subway station, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains and the Court Street station, serviced by the R train. Jonathan Landau of Landau Development Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 200 Montague Street, a 20-story residential building in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by Aurora Capital Partners, the structure yields 121 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 38 units for residents at 80 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $54,960 to $215,1500.
Exterior work is nearing completion on 200 Montague Street, a 20-story residential building in the Borough Hall Skyscraper Historic District of Brooklyn Heights. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle and developed by Aurora Capital Partners, the 140,700-square-foot structure will yield 121 rental units in one- to three-bedroom layouts with marketing led by M.N.S. Real Estate NYC for Aurora Capital Associates, as well as 7,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Cauldwell Wingate is the general contractor for the property, which is located between Court and Clinton Streets. Ancona Engineering handled the former demolition of the old structure.
