Cayuga Capital To Transform 321 Starr Street Into Retail Building, Bushwick

DNAinfo reports Cayuga Capital acquired the single-story warehouse building at 321 Starr Street, at the northern tip of Bushwick, for $9 million, and plans to expand the building to accommodate multiple commercial tenants. MetroRock Climbing is already expecting to open a 23,000 square-foot facility in the building in spring of 2016, and future tenants will be revealed later on.

Development Site at 1294 Bushwick Avenue Attempts a Flip After One Year

Brownstoner reports the vacant lot at 1294 Bushwick Avenue, in southern Bushwick, as well as the three-story townhouse at No. 1296, are on the market as a development site for $1.25 million. The site is pre-approved for two buildings and a total of six units — the existing townhouse is to be kept and expanded under approved plans. An LLC had acquired the two lots for only $605,000 last year in April.


557 Hart Street

18-Unit Mixed-Use Project Planned for 577 Hart Street in Bushwick

Flushing North LLC has filed additional applications to revive plans for a five-story, 18-unit mixed-use building originally filed in early 2014 at 557 Hart Street, in northern Bushwick. The building will span 17,422 square feet, and includes a 3,100 square-foot commercial component. Raymond Chan is designing, and an existing single-story structure must first be demolished.
