Camber Property Group has completed a $105 million acquisition of three Project Based Section 8 affordable housing complexes formerly owned by Omni New York. The three properties include Grace Towers, a 168-unit building in East New York, Brooklyn; Target V Apartments in the Morris Heights section of The Bronx; and Madson Apartments in East Harlem.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2269 First Avenue, a nine-story mixed-use building in East Harlem, Manhattan. Designed by Issac and Stern Architects, the structure yields 90 residences and 3,995 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 27 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $58,286 to $167,570.
Today’s housing lottery round-up features eight buildings in Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Manhattan with available affordable units on Housing Connect with deadlines closing within the next seven days.

Built in 1910 and recently renovated by non-profit El Barrio Operation Fightback, the structure yields eight co-op residences and two commercial units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are seven units for residents at 90 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $70,672 to $116,010.
The New York City Department of Housing Development and Preservation (HPD) has revealed two large-scale mixed-use properties in East Harlem that will create a new Afro-Latin Music and Arts (ALMA) Center and 600 affordable housing units. The ALMA Center will be operated by the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance and the housing units will serve low-income families and the formerly homeless.
