DXA Studio will again appear before the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) with updated plans to renovate and expand a landmarked warehouse building near Union Square. The property is located at 827-831 Broadway and was formerly the home of artists Willem and Elaine de Kooning.

The Landmarks Preservation Commission is reviewing applications from Steven Harris Architects to renovate a previously subdivided two-family townhouse into a single-family home at 65 Horatio Street in the West Village. In addition to unifying the townhouse, renderings from the architect reveal a penthouse addition.
Façade work is progressing at 101 West 14th Street, a 13-story residential building in Chelsea. Alternately addressed as 531 Sixth Avenue, the 145-foot-tall structure is being developed by Gemini Rosemont and features the signature cubic style of its designer ODA. Whitehall Interiors is in charge of designing the 45 units.
Construction has topped out on 799 Broadway, a 12-story office building in Greenwich Village. Designed by Perkins + Wills and developed by Columbia Property Trust, the 182-foot-tall project will contain 180,000 square feet of commercial space marketed by JLL. The corner lot, which is located at the intersection of Broadway and East 11th Street, was purchased by Normandy Real Estate Partners and Ares Management in 2016 for $101 million and required the demolition of several low-rise structures.
