Details have been revealed for an enormous new 750-unit residential tower at 18 6th Avenue, in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The site is right beside the Barclays Center and is part of Pacific Park, formerly known as Atlantic Yards, a multi-billion dollar 22-acre mega-project that has already seen the completion of four of fifteen eventual buildings. TF Cornerstone and The Brodsky Organization have also now joined Greenland Forest City Partners to finish the project, acquiring land where three of the prospective future skyscrapers will imminently rise.

The site is just three blocks from the new 2nd Avenue subway line entrance on 86th street, and Lavin Development will be responsible for the project.

Rising 29 stories, the tower has a slender profile that sits directly adjacent to the Court Chambers Building to the east, at the intersection of Livingston Street and Court Street. 22 full-floor units are included within the 50,000 square foot envelope, which is comprised of two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts. Permits have been filed for a ten-story residential building at 2150 Second Avenue in East Harlem, Manhattan. This differs from an earlier proposal for the site in 2014, measuring about twenty feet shorter. The site is three blocks away from the 110th Street subway station, serviced by the 6 trains. Mark NG will now be responsible for the development.
