Designed by FXCollaboeative with HPL Engineeringas the architect of record, and developed by Sunlight Development, the 197-foot-tall structure will span approximately 300,000 square feet and yield 127 condominium units with an average scope of 740 square feet, as well as 65,000 square feet of community facility space, 47,000 square feet of retail, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 287 enclosed parking spaces. Jingang Northern LLC is listed as the owner of the property, which is located on an interior lot between Bowne and Union Streets.

Construction has reached street level for Union Center, a 16-story mixed-use building at 37-16 Union Street in Flushing, Queens. Designed by Raymond Chan Architect and developed Lions Group NYC, the 189-foot-tall structure will span 207,239 square feet, with 133,000 square feet of Class A office space, community facility space, 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, a 48-foot-long rear yard, and 142 enclosed valet parking spaces across three cellar levels. The office space will offer flexible tenant arrangements and roof terraces on the 16th floor. ZL Macedonia LLC is listed as the owner of the property, which is situated on an interior lot facing the intersection of Union Street and 38th Avenue.

Exterior work is progressing on La Vita, a 16-story residential and hotel complex at 133-25 37th Avenue in Flushing, Queens. FXCollaborative is the design architect, Raymond Chan Architect is serving as the architecture of record, and Gary Tsan under the 37 Richouse LLC is the developer of the 198-foot-tall structure, which will span 263,151 square feet and yield 150 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts, as well as 202 hotel rooms, 23,000 square feet of ground-floor and below-grade retail space, and 300 parking spaces. The property stands on a nearly 1-acre interior lot bound by 36th Road to the north, 37th Avenue to the south, and a construction project at 133-09 37th Avenue to the west.

New Renderings Revealed For 20-Acre Metropolitan Park Proposal in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens

New York Mets owner Steve Cohen recently unveiled new renderings for Metropolitan Park, a 20-acre park on the former site of Shea Stadium in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park, Queens. Designed in collaboration between SHoP Architects and Field Operations, the park is part of the 50-acre, $8 billion plan to transform the parking lots on the western side of Citi Field into a mixed-use casino and hotel complex. The development is bound by Shea Road to the north and west, Roosevelt Avenue to the south, and Citi Field, Seaver Way, and Mets Plaza to the east.
