Located at 2351 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard in Central Harlem, the Rennie has officially launched sales of its 134 condominiums spread over eight stories. Developed by BRP Companies and designed by GF55 Partners, sales will be handled by Halstead Property Development Marketing. There will be studios to three-bedroom residences that start at $580,000, and range up to $1.89 million. The site is located where the Renaissance Ballroom and Casino once stood, with the first two floors of the new building becoming an ode to the rich cultural and architectural history of the original structure.

Updated Rendering Revealed for 20 West 116th Street in Harlem, Manhattan

Located on West 116th Street between 5th Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, an 11-story building will soon rise at 20 West 116th Street and house 29,540 square feet of residential space. The project is being designed by GF55 Partners and developed by Carthage Advisors, and will replace the old Harlem Baptist Temple Church, which was partially demolished back in 2009.

Permits have been filed for two 12-story buildings at 212 and 224 West 124th Street in Harlem, Manhattan. The site is in the heart of Harlem, near Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, and three blocks from the 125th Street subway station with the A, B, C, and D trains. Moses Strulowtiz of the CS Real Estate Group is behind the applications.

Permits have been filed for a substantial 17-story mixed-use high-rise at 56 West 125th Street, in Harlem, Manhattan. The site is half a block from the 2 and 3 trains, and three blocks from the 125^th Street train station serviced by Metro North. This is one of several substantial new buildings filed for the neighborhood, showing the economic revitalization of Harlem is far from over. The Jay Group is responsible for the development.

Construction is starting to rise above ground level for a 26-story hotel and 25-story residential tower at 233 West 125^th Street. The project is best known for its connection with the Victoria Theater, which will be restored and integrated with the Marriott. The Lam Group is the developer.

Located on a vacant, interior lot between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, the eight-story building will contain over 28,000 square feet of residential area and a total of 45 units.

With so much focus on the rising developments along Central Park South, there hasn’t been much discussion of new penthouses rising on the other end of the greenery, mostly because they are very few and far between. One of those rarities is 145 Central Park North, a 14-story residential building near the center of Central Park North in Harlem, between 7^th Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard. Today, YIMBY has the first rendering of the project, which is being developed by Einhorn Development Group.
