At number 13 on our year-end countdown of the tallest buildings under construction in New York is 1710 Broadway, a 633-foot-tall hotel skyscraper in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Moss Architects and developed by RIU Hotels and Resorts, the 54-story structure will yield 673 hotel rooms, as well as two 300-seat restaurants and a lounge bar. The 8,848-square-foot development site has 129 feet of frontage at the corner of Broadway and West 54th Street.

The 21st-tallest building on YIMBY’s year-end construction countdown is the Xadia Hotel, a 475-foot-tall hotel tower at 58 West 39th Street in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Marin Architects and developed by Wei Hong Hu under the H Hotel LLC, the 42-story structure will yield 173 guest rooms and amenities including a restaurant, an arcade, and a rooftop bar. The project is located on a narrow interior plot between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, one block south of Bryant Park.

The 25th-tallest building on our year-end construction countdown is 32 West 48th Street, a 456-foot-tall boutique hotel tower to be called the Kimpton Midtown NYC in the Diamond District of Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Extell, the 31-story structure will span 213,158 square feet and yield 534 guest rooms operated by Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, with an average scope of 316 square feet. The property is located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, directly south of Rockefeller Center, with a narrow annex extending south to West 47th Street. INC Architecture & Design is handling interior design work.
