The Moinian Group and Bushburg Properties recently debuted PLG, a new rental property near the southern edge of Prospect Park. Located at 123 Linden Boulevard, the 26-story building will be the tallest structure in the neighborhood.
Construction kicked off this week on the Hudson Arts Building, a new office development at 220 Eleventh Avenue in West Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by Studios Architecture and developed by The Moinian Group, the project will occupy an entire city block between 25th and 26th Streets. According to JLL, the exclusive leasing agent for the property, the Hudson Arts Building is expected to welcome tenants by 2022, and the official groundbreaking was held yesterday.
A set of new renderings were recently unveiled by the project team for 3 Hudson Boulevard, a long-planned high-rise at the edge of Hudson Yards in Manhattan. While construction at the property has barely reach grade-level, Boston Properties and The Moinian Group have released new specific details surrounding the future office tower.
Work appears to have resumed at Three Hudson Boulevard in Hudson Yards, the 11th-tallest project under construction in New York in YIMBY’s annual countdown. Work on the foundations of the planned 940-foot-tall office skyscraper stalled in 2019 while the scope and architectural form of the structure underwent several revisions. However, activity was recently spotted at the southern end of the property, where a small group of workers are currently forming the final section of the reinforced concrete foundation wall. The 53-story project is designed by FXCollaborative and being developed by Moinian Group.
Permits have been filed for a nine-story commercial building at 220 11th Avenue in Hudson Yards, Manhattan. Located between 25th Street and 26th Street, the lot is about five blocks south of the 34th Street-Hudson Yards subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Developer Moinian Group is listed as the owner behind the applications. The revised permit filing calls for office space, a possible indicator of severe over-saturation of condominiums in the neighborhood. In 2016, the filing was for an 11-story, 158,000-square-foot mixed-use building with 40 condos, a museum, and a restaurant.
