Excavation is underway at 530 Sixth Avenue in Chelsea, in preparation for the construction of a 12-story residential building. Located at the corner of Sixth Avenue and West 14th Street, the 63,000-square-foot project is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and is being developed by Landsea Homes and DNA Development, which purchased the property for $53 million from Extell in the fall of 2018.

The terracotta paneling is rising up the slender façade of 30 East 31st Street in NoMad and has reached the lattice crown of cross beams at the top of the reinforced concrete superstructure. Located between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue, the 39-story, 479-foot-tall residential tower is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and is being developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real Estate. Reuveni Real Estate is marketing the building’s 42 units, which will be spread across just over 70,000 square feet for an average of 1,700 square feet apiece. Prices range from $1.65 to $12 million.
A crowning “Welcome” at 30 Columbia Heights, better known as Panorama, is now in full view above the Brooklyn Heights waterfront. The new sign replaces the iconic Watchtower sign that stood as a signifier of the now-removed Jehovah’s Witness headquarters that formerly occupied the building.
The exterior of The Warehouse, aka 520 West 20th Street, is getting closer to completion in West Chelsea. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Elijah Equities, the mixed-use office development is located close to the High Line between West 19th Street and West 20th Street. The project features the restored 50-foot-tall brick façade of a former industrial building topped by a new suspended and cantilevering steel structure that brings the total height to 105 feet.
Front and York, Morris Adjmi Architects‘ 1.1-million-square-foot residential development at 85 Jay Street, is steadily rising in in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Two construction cranes continue to lift and place materials across the wide floor plates of the reinforced concrete structure. CIM Group and LIVWRK are the developers of the 21-story project, which will yield condominiums, rentals, and retail space.
