Greenpoint Central’s Second Phase Progresses at 65 Dupont Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Construction is progressing on Greenpoint Central, an eight-story residential complex at 65 and 75 Dupont Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Madison Realty Capital, the two-phase project will span 400,000 square feet and yield 471 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, with 143 designated for affordable housing. The property was formerly addressed as 14 Clay Street and is bound by Dupont, Clay, and Franklin Streets. MNSis handling the leasing at the development.

Permits Filed for 103 India Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed for a vertical enlargement and interior renovation of existing three-story building at 103 India Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located between Franklin Street and Manhattan Avenue, the lot is closest to the Greenpoint Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Riad Sukkarieh under the 103 India LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Site clearing is complete at 15 West Street, where a 29-story residential building is planned to rise within Cooper Robertson Partners‘ Calyer Place master plan in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Halcyon Management Group, the property is alternatively addressed as 30 Porte Plaza and located at the corner of West and Quay Streets.

Foundations Underway At 79 Quay Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Foundation work is underway at 79 Quay Street, the site of an 11-story residential building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by Strekte Architects and developed by Harry Einhorn of Einhorn Development Group under the 79 Quay Plaza LLC, the 114-foot-tall structure will span 92,390 square feet and yield 140 rental units with an average scope of 701 square feet, as well as 1,287 square feet of commercial space and a cellar level. The property is located at the corner of Quay and West Streets.

New Rendering Revealed for The Dupont at 16 Dupont Street on Greenpoint’s Waterfront

New renderings have been unveiled for The Dupont, a new residential tower under construction on the Greenpoint waterfront. Located at 16 Dupont Street, the 41-story building is being developed by Rockefeller Group in a joint venture partnership with Park Tower Group and designed by Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel, with interiors created by Workstead. Compass Development Marketing Group is the exclusive marketing and leasing partner.

Greenpoint Landing’s Next Phase Revealed as OMA Selected For Design Of Two Skycrapers

Partners Brookfield Properties and Park Tower Group have announced the next large phase of development at Greenpoint Landing. The centerpiece will be two residential towers designed by OMA. One acre of public waterfront space designed by James Corner Field Operations will surround the mixed-income housing which will also include another new seven-story building. Thirty percent of the 745 units will be affordable housing. This project will also result in further expansion of Greenpoint’s waterfront esplanade. Marmol Radziner is the interior designer while Beyer Blinder Belle is the executive architect and interior designer.

Greenpoint Landing Mega-Project’s 41 Blue Slip Approaches Topping-Out

The second tower at Greenpoint Landing is on its way to topping off sometime this spring. Addressed at 41 Blue Slip, the building will imminently stand 40 stories atop Greenpoint, on Brooklyn’s East River waterfront. The project is being designed by Handel Architects and developed by both Brookfield Property Partners and Park Tower Group. L+M Development Partners is the third developer of Greenpoint Landing, but is not involved with this particular skyscraper. The site is located just off of Commercial Street behind 5 Blue Slip, and sits about a quarter mile to the north of The Greenpoint, aka 21 India Street.

The Greenpoint at 21 India Street Awaiting Imminent Completion in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Located at 21 India Street, The Greenpoint sits right off the India Street ferry terminal along the East River. Isolated from the cluster of new towers rising on the waterfront by the Williamsburg Bridge and Greenpoint Landing to the north, it is the tallest skyscraper in the neighborhood. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Mack Real Estate Group, the 39-story residential development is almost complete and will have 500 units composed of condominiums and rentals. The entire 392-foot tall project is set to span 454,502 square feet.

The City Announces Major Redevelopment of The Greenpoint Hospital Campus for Affordable Housing

New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and the Department of Social Services has officially selected development partners to transform the historic Greenpoint Hospital site into an affordable housing block. In total, the Greenpoint Hospital campus measures 3.4 acres with a total of eight, mostly vacant structures.

Plans have been announced for a new seven-story office building on the Greenpoint Waterfront, and today, YIMBY has the first renderings for the site. The project is targeted to satisfy the demand for more small Class-A office space in the rising Greenpoint and North Williamsburg areas, which have seen a significant boom in new residential development. Simon Baron Development is the developer behind the uniquely-shaped structure, and FXCollaborative is responsible for the design.
