Designed by JFA Architects & Engineers and developed by The Jay Group, the structure yields 70 rental units in studio- to three-bedroom layouts, 21 of which are reserved for affordable housing, as well as ground-floor commercial space. Construction is nearing completion on 1 Wythe Avenue, a seven-story commercial building within the Greenpoint-Williamsburg Industrial Business Zone (IBZ) in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Designed by StudiosC, the 97-foot-tall project structure spans 78,842 square feet. Of this total, approximately 41,000 square feet is devoted to light manufacturing on the cellar, first, and fourth floors. The remainder will be allotted for offices. The property is bounded by Banker Street, North 15th Street, and Wythe Avenue.

Designed and developed by Strekte, the 114-foot-tall structure spans 92,390 square feet and yields 132 rental units with an average scope of 701 square feet. The project also includes 1,287 square feet of commercial space and a cellar level. Thirty-five of the apartments are reserved for affordable housing. The property is alternately addressed as 79 Quay Street and is located at the corner of Quay and West Streets.

Work Resumes on 305 Calyer Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Exterior work is progressing on 305 Calyer Street, a six-story commercial building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Developed by Samuel Yakobowicz of Greenpoint Industrial Services Corp., the 72-foot-tall structure will yield five floors of office space and an automotive repair shop and car wash on the first story. The 52,000-square-foot property is located at the intersection of Calyer and Jewel Streets.

Three Towers Announced for Greenpoint Landing Phase Two in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

The Domain Companies and LMXD have entered into a joint venture with Park Tower Group to co-develop the next phase of Greenpoint Landing, a mixed-use project on Brooklyn’s waterfront in Greenpoint. Designed by Handel Architects, the new phase will deliver more than 1,000 rental units, including 300 affordable apartments, across three residential towers located at 21 Freeman Street, 37 Freeman Street, and 209 West Street. The development will also feature more than 20,000 square feet of retail space and an extension of the waterfront public park adjacent to the Greenpoint ferry stop.
