Construction is underway on Harborside 4, a 55-story residential skyscraper at 20 Columbus Drive in downtown Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Handel Architects and developed in a joint venture between The Related Companies, Modon Holding, and Panepinto Properties, the structure will yield 800 units, with 600 rentals and 200 condominiums. The project will also include 12,000 square feet of retail space split into three separate storefronts, and a collection of residential amenities. The property is bounded by Christopher Columbus Drive, Greene Street, Hudson Street, and Pearl Street.

The first rendering has been revealed for 100 Bay Street, a proposed supertall residential skyscraper in Jersey City‘s Powerhouse Arts District. Designed by Pelli Clarke & Partners and developed by BLDG Management, the 1.6-million-square-foot project would consist of a pair of 40- and 90-story towers, with the latter standing 1,055 feet tall. The complex is slated to yield nearly 1,300 apartments, with 20 percent dedicated to affordable housing, as well as approximately 29,000 square feet of retail space. The property is bounded by 1st Street to the north, Bay Street to the south, Washington Street to the east, and Warren Street to the west.

Plans have been approved for 626 Palisade Avenue, a four-story residential building in The Heights district of Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Weckenmann Architecture for the 626 Palisade Group LLC, the 43-foot-tall structure was unanimously approved on October 9 by Jersey City’s Zoning Board and will yield 43 rental units, three of which will be affordable. The project will also include 939 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The property is located between North Street and Congress Street.

Construction is nearing completion on 505 Summit Avenue, a 54-story residential skyscraper in Journal Square, Jersey City. Designed by HLW International and developed by Panepinto Properties, the 577-foot-tall structure will yield 605 rental units and 4,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. The property is bounded by the three-tower Journal Squared complex to the north, the Journal Square PATH station and rail tracks to the south and west, and Summit Avenue to the east.
