LPC Reviews Proposals for Office Building at 72 Grand Street in Soho

The Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is currently reviewing proposals to construct a five-story office building at 72 Grand Street in the Soho Cast Iron Historic District of Manhattan. The site currently sits vacant with frontage along both Grand and Wooster Streets. If approved, the new building will top out at nearly 88 feet including all required mechanicals.

LPC to Review Façade Design Proposals for 61-63 Crosby Street In Soho, Manhattan

In 2016, the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) granted approvals for a commercial office conversion of two aging townhouses at 61-63 Crosby Street in SoHo, Manhattan. Architect David Grider, who oversaw the initial design and application process, will return to the LPC on Tuesday, April 21st with proposals to modernize and restore the buildings’ existing facades.

Renzo Piano’s 565 Broome Soho Receiving Finishing Touches As Exterior Work Now Fully Complete

The tallest residential building in SoHo, at 565 Broome Street, is rapidly heading for full completion. The two-towered structure is Pritzker Prize-winning Renzo Piano Building Workshop’s first residential project in New York City. Bizzi & Partners Development, Aronov Development and Halpern Real Estate Ventures are the developers. The building is comprised of 115 one- to four-bedroom condominiums, with interiors designed by Parisian firm Rena Dumas Architecture Interieure (RDAI). Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling the sales and marketing.
