Construction is finished on Bruckner Heights, a two-building residential complex consisting of the seven-story 2070 Chatteron Avenue and nine-story 1017 Olmstead Avenue in Unionport, The Bronx. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Azimuth Development Group, the conjoined structures yield a combined 330 rental units, with 274 units designated for affordable housing. The project also includes ground-floor commercial space. The property is bounded by Chatterton Avenue to the north, Bruckner Boulevard to the south, and Olmstead Avenue to the east.

Construction is topping out on 579 Sackett Street, an 11-story residential building in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by Kao Hwa Lee Architects and developed by Hershy Silberstein of BlueSky Developers, the 110-foot-tall structure will span 46,943 square feet and yield 64 rental units with an average scope of 681 square feet. The project will also include 3,348 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The property is alternately addressed as 224 3rd Avenue and located at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Sackett Street.

A new rendering has been revealed for 129 East 28th Street, a 12-story residential building in Kips Bay, Manhattan. Designed by Alexander Zhitnik of Z Architecture for Daniel Klaynberg under the WW Lexington, LLC, the 124-foot-tall structure will span 38,405 square feet and yield 43 rental units with an average scope of 820 square feet. The project will also include 2,681 square feet of commercial space, a 442-square-foot community facility, a cellar level, and enclosed parking for three vehicles. The property is alternately addressed as 120–124 Lexington Avenue and located at the corner of East 28th Street and Lexington Avenue.

Residential Conversion Revealed for Former Jehovah’s Witness Headquarters at 25–30 Columbia Heights in Brooklyn Heights

New renderings have been revealed for the proposed residential conversion of the former Jehovah’s Witness global headquarters at 25–30 Columbia Heights in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by CIM Group, the project will involve a vertical expansion of two buildings in the former Watchtower Building complex and will yield 661 rental apartments, with 25 percent designated as affordable housing. The development will also include 113,000 square feet of commercial space and community facility space. The five interconnected office and warehouse buildings are located around the intersection of Columbia Heights and Vine Street, directly across from Hillside Dog Park.

Designed by S20M and developed by Rybak Development, the 233-foot-tall structure spans 52,558 square feet and yields 31 condominium units with an average scope of 2,123 square feet. The project also contains 2,551 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, 1,174 square feet of community facility space, and a cellar level. Zproekt Architecture was the project architect, and Paris Forino is the interior designer for the property, which is alternately addressed as 133 East 55th Street and located at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 55th Street.

Designed by IMC Architecture and developed by Bermuda Realty, the 105-foot-tall structure will span 49,385 square feet. The school will occupy 46,066 square feet and have a capacity of 500 students. The project will also contain 3,318 square feet of commercial space and a cellar level. The property is located at the intersection of New Lots and Van Siclen Avenues.

The project will also include 2,241 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, a cellar level, and a 30-foot-long rear yard. The property is located between East 53rd and East 54th Streets.
