Construction is complete on Le Gallerie, a seven-story commercial building at 132 West 14th Street on the border of Greenwich Village and Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed, developed, and owned by KPG Funds, the structure yields 62,000 square feet of Class A office space with floor plates ranging from 6,000 to more than 8,500 square feet. The development also contains 10,588 square feet of lower-level retail space marketed by Ripco Real Estate. JLL Capital Markets is leading leasing and marketing for the office space at the property, which is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.

Designed by Jonathan Newel Architecture, the 32,050-square-foot building is planned to yield 72 guest rooms with an average scope of 445 square feet, according to permits filed in 2015. The project is also slated to include a ground-floor restaurant and offices, a fitness room in the cellar, and a parking lot with 16 spaces. Kue Jor Ng of Sunrise Hospitality Ventures is listed as the owner of the property, which is situated on an interior lot between 3rd and 4th Avenues.

Façade installation has begun on 665 Fifth Avenue, the 28-story US headquarters for Rolex in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by David Chipperfield Architects and developed by the Rolex Realty Company, the 469-foot-tall structure will yield 199,000 square feet of office and retail space for the world-famous watchmaker. Adamson Associates is the architect of record and Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 53rd Street.

The New York City Police Department has opened a new World Trade Center (WTC) Command facility at 27 Cliff Street in Manhattan’s Financial District, replacing its previous headquarters at 16 Ericsson Place. Overseen by the NYPD’s Intelligence and Counterterrorism Bureau, the new facility was established to better support the unit responsible for safeguarding the 16-acre WTC campus. The project was completed in coordination with the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) and various city real estate partners.
