A 500,000-square-foot office building in the Flatiron District is getting some upgrades. 41 Madison Avenue, located between East 25th and 26th streets, was built by Samuel Rudin in 1972 and now the Rudin Management Company is renovating its public spaces, and YIMBY has the first renderings.
When we last checked in on the site of Tribeca Associates’ planned 26-story, 228-key hotel at 143 Fulton Street, between Broadway and Nassau Street in the Financial District, demolition of its three-story occupant was underway. Since then, demolition has been completed and, thanks to a YIMBY reader, we have a new look at the coming hotel.

As we’ve told you in the past, the Landmarks Preservation Commission deals with projects both extremely big and very small. Such was the case last Tuesday, when it approved the expansion of a single-family home at 4520 Waldo Avenue in the Bronx’s Fieldston Historic District.
On Tuesday, the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved a plan to relocate the entrance to the Paramount Building, an individual landmark at 1501 Broadway in Times Square, from Broadway on to West 43rd Street.
