Back in January, YIMBY reported that a 40-story tower was coming to 532 Neptune Avenue, in Coney Island. Now we have a few new renderings for the project, thanks to a tipster, which is being designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Cammeby’s International Group.
The last time we checked on Silverstein’s 175 Greenwich Street (aka Three World Trade Center), work had resumed, and the core had just begun rising again. Now, five months later, the future supertall has just passed the halfway point in its rise. A project insider has sent along several photos, as well as a few snippets of information, including word that the structure is up to the 41st floor (out of 80 total).
Last month, YIMBY brought you the first renderings for the future Hoxton Hotel, coming to 97 Wythe Avenue, just a few blocks in from the Williamsburg waterfront. Now, we have an update on another nearby hotel project, and significant progress is being made on 55 Wythe Avenue, aka the William Vale Hotel.
Related’s redevelopment of the formerly open-air West Side railyards is now becoming very apparent on the skyline, thanks to the rapidly rising 10 Hudson Yards. The Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed tower is closing in on its pinnacle, and the latest photo sent in by reader Mike McLaughlin shows its newly prominent position on the horizon.
The current round of the 57th Street boom is making rapid progress, and construction work at 220 Central Park South in particular is moving quickly. Despite all the momentum, slight uncertainty has surrounded the building’s final design, but YIMBY now has a fresh rendering confirming the skyscraper’s ultimate appearance.
