3ELEVEN Completes Construction at 601 West 29th Street in West Chelsea, Manhattan

Construction is complete on 3ELEVEN, a 60-story residential skyscraper at 601 West 29th Street along the border of West Chelsea and Hudson Yards. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Douglaston Development, the 695-foot-tall structure is also known as Tower A alongside the shorter 606 West 30th Street and yields 935 rental units, with 235 designated for affordable housing, as well as 15,000 square feet of retail space on the podium floors. ES Windows supplied the glass curtain wall and Levine Builders served as the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 311 Eleventh Avenue and bound by West 30th Street to the north, West 29th Street to the south, and Eleventh Avenue to the east.

Developers Complete $53M Renovation at 767 Third Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan

The William Kaufman Organization and Sage have completed a $54 million renovation project at 767 Third Avenue, a high-rise office tower in Midtown East, Manhattan. The design team included FXCollaborative, the same architect that completed the tower in 1981, alongside Fogarty Finger.

TF Cornerstone Secures Retail Tenant for Chelsea Centro at 278 Seventh Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan

TF Cornerstone will soon welcome Chip City Cookies, an expanding New York City-based bakery, as a retail tenant at 278 Seventh Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative, the 14-story rental property known as Chelsea Centro opened in 2001 and comprises around 133,000 square feet. Chip City Cookies is expected to open at the beginning of next year.

Affordable Senior Housing Lottery Launches for 278 Eighth Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 278 Eighth Avenue, a 14-story mixed-use building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners and Chelsea 23rd Realty Corporation, an LLC affiliated with JJ Operating, the structure yields 190 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 48 units for residents at 40 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $26,092 to $198,250. For units where the income limit is set at 40, 60, and 80 percent of the AMI, units are designated for individuals or households that have at least one household member who is 62 years of age or older.

1 Park Point’s Façade Takes Shape in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn

Construction is quickly taking shape on 1 Park Point, a 13-story residential building in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by JEMB Realty, the 145-foot-tall structure will span 395,726 square feet and yield 375 rental units with an average scope of 798 square feet, as well as 5,388 square feet of retail space, 18,850 square feet for community space, a cellar level, and 106 enclosed parking spaces. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the property, which was formerly addressed as 11 Ocean Parkway, is located on Machate Circle at the southwestern corner of Prospect Park, and bound by Ocean Parkway, Coney Island Avenue, and Caton Place.

125 West 57th Street Steadily Rises Along Billionaire’s Row in Midtown, Manhattan

Construction is rising on 125 West 57th Street, a 26-story commercial building along Billionaires’ Row in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners and Cain International, the 440-foot-tall structure will yield 185,000 square feet of Class A office space and a ground-floor home for the Calvary Baptist Church, which has operated on the site since 1883. Leading Builders Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between Sixth and Seventh Avenues between Christian de Portzamparc‘s One57 and SHoP Architects‘ 111 West 57th Street.

278 Eighth Avenue’s Brick Façade Progresses in Chelsea, Manhattan

Exterior work is progressing on 278 Eighth Avenue, a 14-story mixed-use building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners and Chelsea 23rd Realty Corporation, an LLC affiliated with JJ Operating, the 175-foot-tall structure will yield 132,700 square feet with 190 rental apartments and multiple levels of retail space. Square Mile Capital and Pacific Western Bank provided $183 million in construction financing for the project, which is being constructed by Leeding Builders Group between West 23rd and West 24th Streets.

Brooklyn’s One Willoughby Square Scores Highest LEED Interior Rating in USA

Downtown Brooklyn’s One Willoughby Square high-rise has achieved the highest LEED Platinum interior score in the country. Designed by FXCollaborative for JEMB Realty, the 34-story office tower comprises 40,000 square feet, an amenity suite, and a collection of high-efficiency systems that improve the structure’s energy performance, as well as the interior air quality.

LCOR Reveals Renderings for Hoboken Connect High-Rise Office Building in New Jersey

LCOR has revealed new renderings of Hoboken Connect, a 704,000-square-foot office tower now rising near the waterfront edge of Hoboken, New Jersey. The development is located at the corner of Hudson Street and Hudson Place, just steps from the Hoboken Path station.

420 Carroll Street Tops Out in Gowanus, Brooklyn

Construction has topped out on the tallest building at 420 Carroll Street, a two-tower residential complex in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Domain Companies, the project consists of a 20-story, 224-foot-tall tower and 15-story sibling and will yield 360 units with 25 percent reserved for affordable housing, as well as 27,500 square feet of retail space, 7,700 square feet of “Gowanus Mix” space pursuant to the 82-block rezoning of the district, and a new public promenade along the Gowanus Canal. Studio Mainer is the interior designer, Scape is the landscape architect, and Mega Contracting Group is the general contractor for the development, which is rising from a trapezoidal plot bound by Carroll Street to the north, the Powerhouse Arts building and its parking lot to the south, and the Gowanus Canal to the west.
