3ELEVEN Completes Construction at 601 West 29th Street in West Chelsea, Manhattan 

Construction is complete on 3ELEVEN, a 60-story residential skyscraper at 601 West 29th Street along the border of West Chelsea and Hudson Yards. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Douglaston Development, the 695-foot-tall structure is also known as Tower A alongside the shorter 606 West 30th Street and yields 935 rental units, with 235 designated for affordable housing, as well as 15,000 square feet of retail space on the podium floors. ES Windows supplied the glass curtain wall and Levine Builders served as the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 311 Eleventh Avenue and bound by West 30th Street to the north, West 29th Street to the south, and Eleventh Avenue to the east.

TF Cornerstone will soon welcome Chip City Cookies, an expanding New York City-based bakery, as a retail tenant at 278 Seventh Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative, the 14-story rental property known as Chelsea Centro opened in 2001 and comprises around 133,000 square feet. Chip City Cookies is expected to open at the beginning of next year.

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 278 Eighth Avenue, a 14-story mixed-use building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners and Chelsea 23rd Realty Corporation, an LLC affiliated with JJ Operating, the structure yields 190 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 48 units for residents at 40 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $26,092 to $198,250. For units where the income limit is set at 40, 60, and 80 percent of the AMI, units are designated for individuals or households that have at least one household member who is 62 years of age or older.

1 Park Point’s Façade Takes Shape in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn

Construction is quickly taking shape on 1 Park Point, a 13-story residential building in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by JEMB Realty, the 145-foot-tall structure will span 395,726 square feet and yield 375 rental units with an average scope of 798 square feet, as well as 5,388  square feet of retail space, 18,850  square feet for community space, a cellar level, and 106 enclosed parking spaces. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the property, which was formerly addressed as  11 Ocean Parkway, is located on Machate Circle at the southwestern corner of Prospect Park, and bound by Ocean Parkway, Coney Island Avenue, and Caton Place.
