Construction is steadily rising on Anagram Gowanus, a 20-story residential building at 450 Union Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by SO-IL and developed by Global Holdings, Tankhouse, and McArthur Holdings, the 203,000-square-foot structure will yield 158 rental apartments in studio- to three-bedroom layouts, as well as 22,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. A portion of the residential inventory will be reserved for affordable housing. Magnusson Architecture & Planning is the architect of record for the project, which is located at the intersection of Union and Bond Streets.

Earthwork is underway at 200 Douglass Street, the site of a 22-story residential tower in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Midwood Investment & Development, the 225-foot-tall structure will span 300,000 square feet and yield 270 rental units with an average scope of 750 square feet. The development will also include 19,000 square feet of retail space and 42 enclosed parking spaces. The property is bounded by Douglass Street to the north, DeGraw Street to the south, and Bond Street to the west.

654-Unit Nevins Landing Complex Progresses in Gowanus, Brooklyn

Façade installation is progressing on Nevins Landing, a two-tower residential development at 310–340 Nevins Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Charney Companies and Tavros Capital, the 22-story project consists of Nevins Landing North at 310 Nevins Street and Nevins Landing South at 340 Nevins Street. The two buildings will span a combined 600,000 square feet and yield 654 rental units, with 25 percent reserved for affordable housing. The 2.3-acre project site is alternately addressed as 417 Carroll Street and located on a large rectangular parcel along the Gowanus Canal between Union and Carroll Streets.

Construction is finished on Longview, a 17-story residential building at 380 4th Avenue in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by GF55 Architects and developed by Quinlan Development Group, the 175-foot-tall structure spans 211,650 square feet and yields 197 rental units with an average scope of 830 square feet. The project also includes 6,030 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, a cellar level, a 40-foot-long rear yard, and 30 enclosed parking spaces. Sixty of the units are designated as affordable housing. The ground-up development is located between 3rd and 6th Streets.
